OUR COMMITMENT
ISDH2026 is committed to reducing the environmental impact of the event through responsible organizational choices and to promoting more conscious behaviours among participants. A practical approach, based on real and applicable actions, with the aim of contributing to the spread of more sustainable practices within the scientific community, both nationally and internationally.
With our congress organizer, OIC Group – ISO 20121 certified and carbon neutral company, we are moving on to make significant strides toward a more SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.

In recent years, OIC has made a tangible and innovative commitment to sustainability!
From achieving Carbon Neutrality (2023), to relocating its headquarters to reduce emissions, to obtaining ISO 20121 certification and winning the Sustainability Award at the Federcongressi FCE Awards, we have taken every possible step to implement a radical change across all organized events.

Allianz MiCo incorporates the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined by the United Nations in the 2030 Agenda into its strategy.

To translate this committment into concrete actions, ISDH 2026 AIMS TO:
- Choose a venue (Allianz MiCo) that, with its sustainable infrastructure, energy-efficient solutions, and commitment to environmentally responsible practices, represents the ideal setting to host an event that is both meaningful and environmentally respectful. - Make the scientific programme available exclusively in digital format
- Limit printing to essential materials only, using FSC-certified pape
- Provide dedicated area for waste separation
- Prioritize for event setup, local, reused or recycled and certified materials.
- Use disposable tableware only if biodegradable and compostable
- Provide information on how to reach the venue via public transport
- Ensure the venue is accessible and safe for all participants
- Select, where possible, accommodation within walking distance of the venue.
- Prioritize local suppliers to reduce transport-related impact
- Collaborate with partners that adopt sustainable practices
- Offer menus based on local products during social events
